RATES

​

For regular bookings of six weeks or more:

  • Single room is £15.00/hr; for the whole building £30.00/hr. This includes a free 15 mins pre and post session for setting up, clearing away and cleaning.

  • There is a minimum let of 1 hour, and then in a minimum of half hour increments.

  • There is a £50.00 deposit by BACS for keys which is refundable on safe return of keys.

  • If your activity requires a waiting area for parents etc. or the nature of the activity is deemed incompatible with use by anyone else then you need to book the whole building at the required fee. There is no reduction for shared use of the building.

 

For single event bookings:

  • There is a minimum let of 4 hours.

  • Single room is £20.00/hr; for the whole building £40.00/hr.

  • Please contact the hall manager for availability.

SUBUD HOUSE AMENITIES

  • There are 2 rooms for hire, one on the ground floor, one on the first floor; both have chairs and tables. There is a toilet on each floor. There is a kitchenette on the ground floor with kettle, microwave and basic crockery (this is available according to COVID restrictions and advice from Gov.UK - please check prior to booking).

  • Subud House is not suitable for parties (except for young children) as the building is in close proximity to local residents.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access as Subud House is a historic building. There is a step up to the front entrance and level access to the side entrance but not enough room to maneuver a wheelchair.

  • Parking - there is no dedicated car park. Road parking is on Century Road or nearby streets.

BOOKING

  • Once you have established availability, you will be asked to fill in a Booking Form, complete a Risk Assessment for your group and a Hire Agreement form.

PAYMENT

  • Payment is by BACS in advance of hire date.
